The heart of Family Ministries at Cornerstone Church is to equip the family to grow the next generation of Spirit-empowered followers of Christ. When you consider that the average church-going child could spend about 40 hours in church related functions a year, and about 3,000 hours with their parents and families, it becomes clear that the single greatest factor is a child's moral and spiritual development is the home.

We want to leverage the 40 to impact the 3,000.

One of the primary ways we do this is by creating opportunities for shared experience with children and parents. Whether it is the children's Wild Fire program, a mid-week student program, or one of the family events, each is evaluated for its potential to transform the family for Christ.

Kairos

Kairos (καιρ?ς) is an ancient Greek word meaning the right or opportune moment.

Kairos is a community within Cornerstone specifically for young families with or without children. Our goal is to provide a variety of small groups and community fellowship events for the purpose of growing in our relationship with God and each other for His glory! Check out the Find a Life Group page or check the Events Calendar to see any current or upcoming life groups or events held by Kairos.
